Approving adverse action against the Taxicab Driver license held by Abdinasir M. Noh for the City of Saint Paul.

WHEREAS, adverse action was taken against the Taxicab Driver license held by Abdinasir M. Noh (License ID #20100001092) for the City of Saint Paul by Notice of Intent to Revoke License dated December 9, 2010, alleging that the licensees Taxicab Driver license was confiscated by Saint Paul Police for failure to surrender it after his Minnesota Drivers license was suspended; and
WHEREAS, per Saint Paul Legislative Code ยง 376.16(e) (8) (k) (1) the licensing office recommended license revocation; and
WHEREAS, licensee did respond to the Notice of Intent to Revoke License to request a public hearing which was held on January 5, 2011; and now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Taxicab Driver license held by Abdinasir M. Noh is hereby revoked a fine of $500.00 is imposed, however, payment of that fine is suspended on the condition that Mr. Noh have no same or similar violations in the next year.
This resolution, and action taken above, is based upon facts contained in the December 9, 2010, Notice of Intent to Revoke License sent to the licensee and the arguments made at the public hearing on January 5, 2011.
