Authorizing the City to enter into an agreement with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (Lafayette Bridge [first] Mn/DOT Agreement).
Body
WHEREAS the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MN/DOT) plans to replace the Lafayette Bridge (T.H. 52) and its accesses from East Seventh Street (T.H. 5) to Plato Boulevard starting in January 2011, and
WHEREAS following the public hearing held June 22, 2010, the City of Saint Paul City Council adopted File 10-642 granting municipal consent to the Minnesota Department of Transportation for the Lafayette Bridge Replacement project (S.P. 6244-30).
WHEREAS the 2010 adopted Capital Improvement Budget included $1,000,000 of CIB funds as part of the Citys share of this project.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Saint Paul enter in MN/DOT Agreement No. 97441-R with the State of Minnesota Department of Transportation and that the Mayor and proper city officials are authorized to execute the Agreement and any amendments to the agreement.
