Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to accept a $750 donation from Carolyn Mars for Palace Recreation Center.

WHEREAS, Carolyn Mars is a resident of Saint Paul living at 825 Lexington Parkway, St Paul, Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, Carolyn Mars wishes to donate $750.00 in her husband's memory to Palace Recreation Center; and
WHEREAS, the donated money will offset the fees for youth who cannot afford to play hockey and softball at Palace Recreation Center; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts the donation and appropriates it to the intended use at Palace Recreation Center and , and sincerely thanks Carolyn Mars for the generous gift.
