Appeal of Hope and Jeff Austin-Phillips to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 567 ASBURY STREET.
Purpose of Appeal
We were able to replace the upstairs windows to "provide and maintain an approved escape window from each sleeping room." We do not have any rooms in our upstairs that are set up as bedrooms. Furthermore, we do not have money to pay for new windows upstairs. We were also asked to repair a variety of other items in our house. We have full intention of fixing the rest of the items on our deficiency list; however, the date of our follow-up inspection is set for November 29, 2010. My husband and I are going to be out-of-town from November 20 to 26. We need at least two more weeks to make the repairs.
