Approving the five year license between the St. Paul Police Department and State of MN Dept. of Administration
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has a need for space for a communications site to serve radio communications needs for the Citys Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota (State) has space available that the City finds acceptable to serve its needs; and
WHEREAS, the State is willing to lease this space to the City for a period of 5 years under terms that are acceptable to both parties;
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City is hereby authorized to negotiate and enter into a five year lease agreement with the State, for lease of space at the BCA Building at 1430 East Maryland Avenue in the City of St. Paul; and that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute said lease in substantially the same form as attached, upon review and approval as to form by the city attorney.
