Authorizing the Department of Talent and Equity Resources to accept donations of refreshments and items of support at new employee orientations and other citywide educational events for City employees in 2025.
Body
WHEREAS, the Department of Talent and Equity Resources will provide citywide training and development during new employee orientations and supervisor development trainings throughout 2025; and
WHEREAS, to optimize the educational experience and learning, the City and County Credit Union has agreed to support staff development through donations of refreshments and small items of support (e.g. lunch bags, pens) in an amount not to exceed $5,000 in 2025.
WHEREAS, the presence of the donations at the above-mentioned trainings provide a welcoming environment to employees, build and support the foundation needed to enhance employee training and job satisfaction, and result in excellent public and customer service that better serves the interests of the community; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, the Department of Talent and Equity Resources, is authorized to accept donations of refreshments and items of support at new employee orientations and other citywide educational events for city employees in 2025 in an amount not to exceed $5,000.
