Date/Time of 1st LH:  Thursday, August 22, 2024, 1:00 p.m., Room 330 City Hall

Purpose of Appeal:  On August 6th, inspector came, and we did all the corrections to remove the condemnation.  On August 13th, the inspector came and removed the condemnation after I pulled permit and worked on the house.  On August 15th after having an inspection with the same inspector, he drove to 1546 Wilson and entered the building without notice or anything and condemned the house.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Chad Chahov to a Vacant Building Registration Notice and Notice of Condemnation-Unfit for Human Habitation-Order to Vacate at 1546 WILSON AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant to September 19 13, 2024 for compliance or property must be vacated by October 1, 2024; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
