Pertaining to the appointment of a General Manager.
Body
WHEREAS, there is a vacancy for General Manager of the Saint Paul Regional Water Services; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Water Commissioners has directed a process for recruitment and selection of a new General Manager including establishing minimum qualifications; selecting an examining committee that reviewed applicant qualifications and questionnaires; and presiding over the interviews of the top three candidates; and
WHEREAS, Racquel Vaske has applied for the position of General Manager of the Saint Paul Regional Water Services; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Vaske’s employment history includes over 10 years with Saint Paul Regional Water Services, nearly three as Assistant General Manager and her education includes dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Public Management and Human Resources along with a Master’s Degree in Human Resources from the University of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Vaske brings with her experience and knowledge of the emerging trends in water service that will allow the Saint Paul Regional Water Services to be vigilant, creative, innovative, and effective in meeting the needs of the communities it serves and will ensure the continued success of providing excellent customer service and water quality; and
WHEREAS, the appointment process was fulfilled pursuant to the Board of Water Commissioners Resolution No. 4909 which address the qualifications, examining committee, duties, procedures and appointment of a General Manager; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, the Board has appointed Racquel Vaske to the position of General Manager of the Saint Paul Regional Water Services effective April 20, 2024 per the terms of Resolution No. 4909.
