Title
Authorizing the City to enter into an agreement with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) for the Trunk Highway 36 signage for Como Park Zoo and Conservatory.
Body
WHEREAS, MnDOT and State will perform signing construction and other associated construction upon, along, and adjacent to Trunk Highway No. 36 from Trunk Highway No. 35W to 0.23 miles east of Edgerton Street according to State-prepared plans, specifications, and special provisions designated by the State as State Project No. 6212-192 (T.H. 36=118) ("Project") and;
WHEREAS, MnDOT will replace directional signage for Como Park Zoo and Conservatory; and
WHEREAS, the City has agreed to participate in the cost of $13,717.93 as outlined in the agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City’s maintenance responsibilities are defined in the agreement; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City to enter into MnDOT Agreement No. 1055306 with the State of Minnesota, a copy of which is before Council and is made a part hereof; and, be it finally
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are authorized to execute the Agreement.
