Title

Authorizing the Office of Financial Services to carry forward unspent budget authority from 2023, to increase the 2024 spending plan in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Maintenance Fund by $65,000.

Body

WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services has identified important support services needed for the implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of our ERP platform - Infor, and

WHEREAS, these services would assist current City support groups - ERP Business Support and the Office of Technology and Communications - in the management of Infor by identifying issues with business processes and applications, providing recommendations, and long-term planning to update our existing configurations and recognize efficiencies; and

 

WHEREAS, additional funding in the amount of $65,000 is required to purchase six months of these services; and

WHEREAS, the 2024 financing and spending plan needs to be amended for these funds; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the City Charter, does certify that there are available for appropriation total revenues in excess of those estimated in the budget, funds of $65,000 in the ERP Maintenance Fund; and now therefore, be it

RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor that $65,000 is available for appropriation in the 2024 ERP Maintenance Fund, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the particulars as specified in the attached financial analysis.
