Amending the financing and spending plans in the Fire Department's 2024 operating budget for the purchase of the electric fire vehicle (charger).
Body
WHEREAS, on March 24, 2023 the City Council adopted RES 23-493 declaring official intent to reimburse certain original expenditures related to the purchase of emergency fire equipment which includes an electric fire vehicle to be reimbursed from the proceeds of one or more series of tax-exempt bonds; and
WHEREAS, the spending and financing budgets need to be adjusted in Fire's budget to reflect the purchase of the equipment to include the electric fire vehicle; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the City Administrative Code, does certify that there are available for transfer appropriation of funds of $51,870 in the City's operating budget; now,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor that $51,870 is available for appropriation in the City Operating Budget, that said budget, as heretofore is adopted by the Council, is hereby amended by the particulars as specified in the attached financial analysis.
