Authorizing the Police Department to amend the 2024 Budget to accurately reflect the award of the 2023 COPS Microgrants - Community Policing Development in the amount of $175,000.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul accepted the award of the 2023 COPS Microgrant - Community Policing Development in RES PH 23-353; and
WHEREAS, it was approved to amend the 2023 General Fund Budget in error; and
WHEREAS, this award is for 2024 activities, necessitating amending the 2024 General Fund Budget; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor that $175,000 is available for appropriation in the Police Department General Fund, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the particulars as specified in the attached financial analysis.
