Title

Amending the Capital Improvement Budget to allocate funding for 2024 capital maintenance and Phase Two Deferred Maintenance projects to the appropriate departments, as recommended by the Capital Improvement Budget Committee and Mayor.

Body

ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, consistent with the authority granted to the Mayor in Section 10.07.4 of the City Charter, and on the request of the Director of Financial Services to amend the spending budgets for the reallocation of funds within existing budgets. $24,000,000 of funding was made available for Deferred Maintenance as part of the 2022 and 2023 Adopted CIB budgets, of which $6,519,657 was allocated to departments for Phase One funding through AO 23-53. The Saint Paul Long-Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee reviewed project proposals on October 9, 2023, and participated in the Capital Maintenance Team process to review project scores. The Committee completed final review and made recommendations to the Mayor on January 8, 2024. The AO attachments reflect the final project funding recommendation. The Director of the Office of Financial Services is authorized to amend said budget in the manner specified in the attached financial analysis form.
