Appeal of Raj Mehta to a Correction Notice-Complaint Inspection (which includes condemnation) at 220 ROBERT STREET SOUTH.

 

Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, January 23, 2024, 1:30 p.m., Room 330 City Hall

Purpose of Appeal:  Ste 101: There were several confetti cannons but no fireworks indoors.  It was a birthday party of one of the tenant's sons and people were coming & going. I had posted occupancy load already there, and this will not be repeated in the future. I will submit a permit with architecture approval for use change.

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  Appellant said this is a business and not residential, so staff thought it was okay to schedule out to 1/23/24.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Raj Mehta to a Correction Notice-Complaint Inspection (which includes condemnation) at 220 Robert Street South, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
