Authorizing the City to enter into a Subrecipient agreement with American Lung Association for the expansion of the EV Spot Network on the east side of the city.

WHEREAS, there are funds available through the Department of Energy's FY22 Vehicle Technologies Office (VTO) Program-Wide Funding Opportunity Announcement; and
WHEREAS, the City has been asked to participate as a sub-recipient on the project; and
WHEREAS, there is an in-kind match requirement of $54,967 that will be met through project staff salaries; and
WHEREAS, the City plans to expand the EV Spot Network in East Side Saint Paul using funds awarded to the American Lung Association by the Department of Energy; and
WHEREAS, the program scope, budget and responsibilities of the City of Saint Paul and its sub-contractors for project elements are defined in the application and agreement; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City to apply for and accept program funds available through the Department of Energy's VTO program, and enter into Subrecipient Agreement EE0010622, a copy of which is before Council and is made a part hereof; and be it finally
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are authorized to execute the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement.
