Approving adverse action and revocation against the Auto Repair Garage license held by Dukes Cars and Towing, LLC d/b/a Dukes Car and Towing (License ID #20190000933) for the premises located at 977 Front Avenue.

WHEREAS, the Auto Repair Garage license held by Dukes Cars and Towing, LLC d/b/a Dukes Car and Towing (License ID #20190000933) for the premises located at 977 Front Avenue was the subject of a Notice of Adverse Action and Request for Revocation of License (“Notice”) dated October 30, 2023; and
WHEREAS, the Notice stated that the Licensee had been the subject of three previous adverse actions. After each adverse action the Licensee complied with the imposed penalty; and
WHEREAS, the Notice further stated that the Department of Safety and Inspections inspected the Licensed Premises after a complaint on June 30, 2023. Violations of license conditions 1, 11, and 18 were found. On July 7, 2023, the Department of Safety and Inspections sent a correction notice to the Licensee at the Licensed premises. The correction notice stated that the Licensee needed to correct the violations before the re-inspection which could take place any time after July 17, 2023; and
WHEREAS, that on July 19, 2023, the Department of Safety and Inspections went to the Licensed Premises to conduct a re-inspection and found violations of license conditions 1, 11, and 18; and
WHEREAS, the licensee was given until November 10, 2023, to respond to the Notice to contest the revocation of the license or request a Council or Administrative Hearing; and
WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice by the November 10, 2023, deadline; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, the Auto Repair Garage license held by Dukes Cars and Towing, LLC d/b/a Dukes Car and Towing (License ID #20190000933) for the premises located at 977 Front Avenue in Saint Paul is hereby revoked.
