Appeal of James Nguyen to a Vacant Building Registration Requirement at 607 LAWSON AVENUE EAST.

Purpose of Appeal: I requested to revoke certificate of occupancy because I could not complete the property for inspection, but in 3 weeks the property will be ready for inspection for rental or resale. I do not know why I'm required to register my property as vacant property! I have been up keeping the property and continue to complete the remodeling to pass inspection. I can supply progress pics.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the appeal of James Nguyen to a Vacant Building Registration Requirement at 607 Lawson Avenue East, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant the appeal and release property from the Vacant Building Program; grant to August 1, 2024 for compliance with Item 1 of the November 8, 2023 orders related to roof; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
