Authorizing Public Works to request $897,283 in SCORE grant funds from Ramsey County.
Body
WHEREAS, Ramsey County requires municipalities to assure recycling service is available to all residents at their place of residence; and
WHEREAS, the request of the SCORE grant funds from Ramsey County will allow the City to continue the residential recycling collection program and other waste diversion activities through 2024;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to request, and if approved accept, SCORE grant funds from Ramsey County in the amount of $753,718 Base funding and $143,565 in Incentive funding in 2024 for support of the Citywide recycling collection programs and waste diversion activities.
