Title

Approving the 2023 Memorandums or Agreement between the City and Manual & Maintenance Supervisors Association and Tri-Council (LIUNA Laborers, Local 363; General Drivers, Local 120; Operating Engineers, Local 49) for the purpose of establishing a process for determining compensation for the supervising of and potholing and skim paving work performed on a weekend shift.

Body

Whereas, the last Labor Agreement between the City of Saint Paul and the Saint Paul Manual & Maintenance Supervisors Association, was approved by Saint Paul City Council on July 26, 2023, continues in full force and effect through December 31, 2025, and thereafter until modified or amended by mutual agreement of the parties and the last Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of Saint Paul and Tri-Council (LIUNA Laborers, Local 363; General Drivers, Local 120; and Operating Engineers, Local 49) was approved by the Saint Paul City Council on July 12, 2023, continues in full force and effect through December 31, 2025, and thereafter until modified or amended by mutual agreement of the parties; and

 

Whereas, the City of Saint Paul and the Saint Paul Manual & Maintenance Supervisors Association and Tri-Council (LIUNA Laborers, Local 363; General Drivers, Local 120; and Operating Engineers, Local 49) have a tentative Memorandum of Agreement  for the purpose of establishing a process for determining compensation for the supervising of and potholing and skim paving work performed on a weekend shift that, once approved, shall continue in full force and effect through December 15, 2023, now therefore, be it

 

Resolved, that the Saint Paul City Council, pursuant to the Saint Paul City Charter Section 6.03.3 (5), hereby approves and ratifies the attached Memorandums of Agreement between the City of Saint Paul and Manual & Maintenance Supervisors Association and Tri-Council (LIUNA Laborers, Local 363; General Drivers, Local 120; Operating Engineers, Local 49).
