Approving the Mayor’s appointments of Alaina Gall, Meghan Redmond, Teisha Magee, and Mary Jean Mulherin to the Advisory Committee on Aging.
Body
WHEREAS, Council Resolution 89-2297 establishes the Advisory Committee on Aging and Article V, Section 2 of the bylaws of the Advisory Committee on Aging state that the committee shall consist of fifteen (15) members appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the Saint Paul City Council; and
WHEREAS, there are vacancies on the Advisory Committee on Aging; and
WHEREAS, members of the Advisory Committee on Aging reviewed applications and conducted interviews of interested applicants; and
WHEREAS, the Advisory Committee on Aging staff recommend Alaina Gall, Meghan Redmond, Teisha Magee, and Mary Jean Mulherin for appointment as committee members; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Carter wishes to appoint of Alaina Gall, Meghan Redmond, Teisha Magee, and Mary Jean Mulherin to the Advisory Committee on Aging for a term of two-years; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council consents to the appointment of Alaina Gall, Meghan Redmond, Teisha Magee, and Mary Jean Mulherin as members of the Advisory Committee on Aging for a term ending October 31, 2025.
