WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Fire Department is holding a Line of Duty Death funeral for Captain Chris Parsons on June 21, 2023 at the Nicollet Island Pavilion; and
WHEREAS, the public purpose of these costs is to provide food for employees working on coordinating the logistical plan for the funeral and to provide light refreshments for attendees at the visitation and funeral for Captain Chris Parsons; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby authorizes the expenditure of funds not to exceed $5,700 for the funeral of Captain Chris Parsons.
