Approving the Memorandum of Agreement for the 2023 Wage and Fringe Adjustment between the City and the United Association of Plumbers, Local 34.

Whereas, the May 1, 2021 - April 30, 2024 Maintenance Labor Agreement between the City of Saint Paul and the United Association of Plumbers, Local 34 and Sprinkler Fitters Local Union No. 417 was approved on October 6, 2021 and the Memorandum of Agreement for the 2023 January Wage and Fringe Adjustment between the City of Saint Paul and the United Association of Plumbers, Local 34 was approved by the City Council on January 11, 2023 and the 2022 Wage and Fringe Adjustment between the City of Saint Paul and the United Association of Plumbers, Local 34 was approved by the City Council on May 11, 2022; and
Whereas, the City of Saint Paul and the United Association of Plumbers, Local 34 have a tentative Memorandum of Agreement for the 2023 Wage and Fringe Adjustment that, once approved, shall be effective as of May 1, 2023 (or closest pay period); now therefore, be it
Resolved, that the Saint Paul City Council, pursuant to the Saint Paul City Charter Section 6.03.3 (5), hereby approves and ratifies the attached Memorandum of Agreement for the 2023 Wage and Fringe Adjustment between the City of Saint Paul and the United Association of Plumbers, Local 34.
