Ratifying the assessments for Collection of Fire Certificate of Occupancy fees billed during July 28 to September 23, 2022. (File No. CRT2304, Assessment No. 238203)

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 22-1965 accepted the Report of Completion for Collection of Fire Certificate of Occupancy Fees billed during the time period July 28 to September 23, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has considered objections of affected property owners and developed recommendations for the City Council with respect to their assessments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on March 22, 2023 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 429 of Minnesota State Statutes and Chapter 60 of the Saint Paul Administrative Code, the assessments are hereby in all respects ratified with the exceptions of the following amendments which will be considered separately:
RLH TA 23-52: 1547 Marion Street;
RLH TA 23-43: 820 Ocean Street;
RLH TA 23-62: 848 Pleasant AVenue (842 Pleasant Avenue);
RLH TA 23-63: 800 Snelling Avenue South (750 Snelling Avenue South); and be it further
RESOLVED, that the assessments be payable in one (1) installment, unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer’s recommended amendments.
