Recognizing Lisa Veith for dedicated service to the Board of Water Commissioners.

WHEREAS, Lisa Veith has served diligently in her capacity as Attorney representing the Board of Water Commissioners since July 10, 2001; and
WHEREAS, Lisa Veith has provided outstanding guidance and sound legal advice to the Board in many legal matters; and
WHEREAS, Lisa Veith has been instrumental in negotiating and drafting a multitude of written agreements and leases on behalf of the Board; and
WHEREAS, Lisa Veith provided crucial assistance and high-level representation to the Board when negotiating the Progressive Design-Build Agreements required for the McCarron’s Water Treatment Process Improvements Project; and
WHEREAS, Lisa Veith drafted a host of ordinances and resolutions amending and improving Title XI - Water Utility of the City of Saint Paul’s Legislative Code; and
WHEREAS, Lisa Veith’s keen sense of humor contributed to making Saint Paul Regional Water Services an enjoyable place to work; and
WHEREAS, Lisa Veith has retired from her position as of February 28, 2023, capping a nearly 22 year career of impeccable service; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul hereby formally acknowledges and extends to Lisa Veith its sincere appreciation for her dedicated work as legal counsel for the Board; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board extends to Lisa Veith and her family its best wishes in all future endeavors.
