Authorizing the Fire Department to apply for the 2023 Workplace Wellness Community Grant for up to $5,000 from the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce for health and wellness equipment for firefighters at Fire Stations 6, 18, and 24.

WHEREAS, the Fire Department would like to apply for the 2023 Workplace Wellness Community Grant to purchase health and wellness equipment for firefighters; and

WHEREAS, the total grant amount provided by the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce could be up to $5,000 for the health and wellness equipment for firefighters at Fire Stations 6, 18, and 24; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, the City Council authorizes the Fire Department to apply for the 2023 Workplace Wellness Community Grant.
