Making finding on the appealed nuisance abatement ordered for 952 EUCLID STREET in Council File RLH SAO 22-48.  (Public hearing continued to January 11, 2023, Legislative Hearing on January 10, 2023)

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH SAO 22-48 on December 7, 2022 which granted an extension to December 30, 2022 to abate the nuisance conditions at 952 Euclid Street; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on January 3, 2023 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions forthcoming were not abated; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that an extension to January 10, 2023 be granted for compliance, on which date a Legislative Hearing will be conducted to review if compliance has been achieved;

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer found that the nuisance condition was abated by January 10, 2023 and recommends that the City Council declare the matter resolved; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council adopts the finding of the legislative hearing officer that the nuisance condition is forthcoming was not abated as of January 4, 2023 and continued the public hearing to January 11, 2023 to review the case a second time to make a determination on compliance and whether the Department of Safety and Inspections be authorized to abate the nuisance; and

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council adopts the finding of the legislative hearing officer that the nuisance condition is abated and the matter resolved.
