Purpose of Appeal:   The building isn't vacant, it never was.

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:    Fire inspector referred to VB program on 8/31/22 and VB staff unable to determine if vacant.  Sent out a Warning Letter 11/3/22.  On October 12, Fire inspector attempt to inspect property.  Revocation letter sent October 12, 2022. MV

 

Body

WHEREAS, in the matter of Charles Forrest to a Vacant Building Registration Requirement at 995 Burns Avenue, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council waive vacant building fee to December 9, 2022 to get Fire Certificate of Occupancy reinstated; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
