Returned Mail/Notice Concerns?:
Stated Reason for Appeal (if given): Property owner stated that they purchased the property in on 4/29/2022. They stated that there were no carts at the property when they moved in and that they did not call to set up service until 8/18/2022.
Staff Comments: Hauler records show that neither the current nor the previous property called to cancel before or during the time period in question (April - June 2022). They also stated that the 96-gal cart that was at the property before the sale should have still been there as the previous property never requested that it be removed. In addition, hauler records show that they received a call from the current property owner on 8/18/2022 to request that the 96-gal cart on site be switched out for a 64-gal cart. Therefore, it would have been confirmed then that there was a cart on site when the property was purchased. Based on this information, staff recommends approving the assessment.
