Authorizing the Fire Department to accept a donation of $200 from Carey Thompson.

WHEREAS, Carey Thompson has offered to donate $200 in appreciation of the Safe Summer Nights event on July 14, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department would like to accept the donation of $200 from Carey Thompson and use it to continue to provide services to the residents of Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council finds that providing fire services has a public purpose; Now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts this donation of $200 and thanks Carey Thompson for their generous donation.
