Authorizing the City to enter into an agreement with Ramsey County for the Energy Park Drive, Cleveland and Selby Traffic Signal Interconnect Project.

WHEREAS, the City plans to construct traffic signal interconnect systems on Energy Park Drive between West Bandana Boulevard and Lexington Parkway; Cleveland between Summit Avenue and Saint Clair Avenue and between Randolph Avenue and Highland Parkway; and on Selby Ave between Lexington Parkway and Dale Street; and
WHEREAS, the agreement contains a mutual indemnification clause, which the Council finds reasonable and appropriate; and
WHEREAS, the agreement defines the engineering, administrative, cost participation, ownership and maintenance responsibilities of Ramsey County and the City of Saint Paul for the project; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City to enter into Ramsey County Agreement PW2022-02, a copy of which is before Council and is made a part hereof; and be it finally
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are authorized to execute the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement.
