Authorizing the City to enter into an agreement with Ramsey County for the Marion at Ravoux Pedestrian Improvements Project.
Body
WHEREAS, the City plans to construct pedestrian improvements on Marion Street between Ravoux Street and Como Avenue and on Como Avenue between Marion Street and Galtier Street; and
WHEREAS, the City and County agree to each fund 50% of the project cost including design and construction; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement contains a mutual indemnification clause, which the Council finds reasonable and appropriate; and
WHEREAS, the agreement defines the engineering, administrative, cost participation, ownership and maintenance responsibilities of Ramsey County and the City of Saint Paul for the project; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City to enter into Ramsey County Agreement PW2022-10, a copy of which is before Council and is made a part hereof; and be it finally
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are authorized to execute the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement.
