Title
Appeal of Darleen Tareeq to a Summary Abatement Order at 657 CANTON STREET.
Date/Time of 1st LH: Tuesday, July 5, 2022, 1:00 p.m. in Room 330 City Hall
Purpose of Appeal: I am appealing for two reasons:
1) Due to excessive heat the last 3 days, I need more time to clean my yard as I'm pregnant & have lupus & working in this heat is dangerous to my health.
2) About my gas & electric being up to code, I had a fire in my home in November 2021 & my gas & electric was shut off by Xcel Energy. After repairs & inspection by city inspector assigned to my case, Xcel came out & restored my gas & electric so I'm trying to understand what needs to be code compliant. This was in January that it was restored. It's now almost July & I'm being threatened by Category 2 status.
Date of Order(s) Under Appeal: June 15, 2022
Inspector/Key Staff: Matt Dornfeld
Legislative Hearing Staff Comments: Legislative Hearing Officer waived application fee and would like an in-person hearing. Cat 1 VB opened 12/9/21 due to a fire in the dwelling.
