Title

Amending the financing and spending plans in the Department of Public Works Capital Budget for public works projects.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works is recommending the following changes to the financing and spending on these projects:

 

                     Adding $60,000 of Sewer funding to the 2022 Battle Creek Project.

 

                     Transferring $530,000 of Sewer funding from the 2022 Edgcumbe project and adding $380,000 of Water funding to the 2022 Curtice project.

 

                     Adding $1,686,000 of Water funding to the 2022 Edgcumbe Project.

 

                     Adding $187,500 of Ramsey County funding to the 2022 Edgcumbe at St. Paul Avenue Signal Project.

 

                     Transferring $280,000 of Sewer funding from the 2022 SPS Program and adding $2,117,000 of Water funding to the 2021 Griggs/Scheffer Ph 2 Project.

 

                     Transferring $276,500 Sewer funding from the 2022 SPS Program, adding $81,000 of Water funding and $400,519 of assessment funding to the 2022 Prior Project.

 

                     Adding $440,000 of Sewer funding, $56,000 of Water funding and $1,000,000 of assessment funding to the 2022 Wabasha Project.

 

                     Adding $994,000 of Water funding to the 2022 Wheelock Project.

 

                     Adding $230,000 Ramsey County funding and transferring $105,000 from MSA Contingency to the 2022 Marion at Ravoux Project.

 

                     Adding $500,000 MnDOT Safe Routes To School (SRTS) Infrastructure grant funding, as authorized by Council Resolution 21-1787, and transferring $300,000 MSA from MSA Contingency to the Maxfield SRTS Project.

 

                     Reducing the STAR funding by $44,800 in the 2020 Pedestrian and Traffic Safety Program.

 

                     Correcting the funding source to Sewer funding from bond funding in the 2017 Ford Parkway Outfall Project.

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there is available for appropriation of funds of $8,087,219; and

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.4 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there is available for transfer of appropriation of funds of $1,491,500; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $8,087,219 is available for appropriation and that $1,491,500 is available for transfer of appropriation of funds in the Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvements Budgets in the following particulars:
