WHEREAS on May 26, 2021, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted said assessment, said Resolution being the Ratification of Assessments for Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during October to December 2020 at 161 Pennsylvania Avenue West. (File No. CG2101A6, Assessment No. 210105); and
WHEREAS, the property at 161 Pennsylvania Avenue West, being described as: Morin’s Enlargement of Lafond’s Addition to St. Paul Subj to Lafond Ave Lot 5 Blk 17, with the property identification number 36-29-23-11-0006 was assessed amount of $102.37; and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff recommends deleting the assessment as the account was canceled in September 2020 and should have not been charged for the Quarter 4, 2020 garbage service; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer concurs with the recommendation; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the reduction of $102.37, plus any accrued interests, is deleted and the Offices of Financial Services will abate Quarter 2, 2020 from the 2022 Property Tax Statement.
