Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to accept a disc golf practice basket, valued at $400, for the Highland Disc Golf Course, donated by Dan Betlock.
Body
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation develops and maintains sites for outdoor recreation of all types throughout the City; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Betlock wishes to donate a disc golf practice basket to the Highland Disc Golf Course to enhance disc golf practice, located at Highland Park in Ward 3; and
WHEREAS, the donation, if accepted, will allow Saint Paul Parks and Recreation to add practice site furnishings at Highland Park; and
WHEREAS, Saint Paul Parks and Recreation wishes to accept the donation of said site furnishings; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby requested to approve the acceptance of the disc golf practice basket and recognize the effort and commitment of Mr. Beltock for their contribution to the City; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts the donation of said equipment at Highland Park and thanks Mr. Betlock for their generous gift.
