Establishing a Qualifications and Examining Committee for the position of Police Chief in accordance with City Charter §12.12.1.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:

                                                                                                                              Section 1

In accordance with the provision of Saint Paul City Charter the City Council hereby establishes the Police Chief Qualifications and Examining Committee

Section 2

The people appointed to serve on the Committee are listed in the attachment to this Ordinance.

Section 3

The Office of Human Resources, Department of HREEO,  and City Council Research shall provide staff support as needed to the Committee but shall not participate in the interview process. 

                                                                                                                              Section 4

This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30) days following its passage, approval and publication
