Waiving the 45-day notice requirement to approve an expansion of the existing outdoor liquor service patio area for a business with existing Malt On Sale (Brewery Taproom), Liquor On Sale - Sunday, Liquor-Outdoor Service Area (Patio), Entertainment (A) and Malt Off Sale (Brewery) licenses to Urban Growler Brewing CO LLC d/b/a Urban Growler Brewing CO (License ID # 20140000679) for the premises located at 2325 Endicott Street Unit #11.

WHEREAS, Urban Growler Brewing CO LLC d/b/a Urban Growler Brewing CO (License Group ID # 20140000679) applied for an expansion of the liquor outdoor service patio area for the premises located at 2325 Endicott St Unit #11 in Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, the licensee requested a waiver of the 45-day notification waiting period for approval of the above-mentioned licenses; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the application is in order and there exist no grounds for denial of the licenses; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Safety and Inspections received a letter from the St. Anthony Park Community Council/District 12 on April 19, 2022 consenting to a waiver of the 45-day notice requirement for approval of the above-mentioned licenses; and
WHEREAS, license conditions are being updated to reflect changes in State Statute; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that failure to grant the waiver, with consequent delay in approving the license, would either cause exceptional and unusual hardship to the license applicant or would cause substantial hardships to the community for which the license is sought; now, therefore, be it,
RESOLVED, a waiver of the 45-day notice requirement is granted and the expansion of the existing outdoor liquor service patio area License are hereby approved and issued to Urban Growler Brewing CO LLC d/b/a Urban Growler Brewing CO (License ID # 20140000679) for the premises located at 2325 Endicott St Unit #11.
