Amending the financing and spending plans in the Fire Department for $7,743.04 for the reimbursement from the Minnesota Firefighter Initiative for two firefighters to attend the National Firefighter Cancer Symposium in Miami, FL, February 23-26, 2022.
Body
WHEREAS, the Fire Department will be reimbursed by the Minnesota Firefighter Initiative $7,743.04 for travel costs and backfill costs for two firefighters to attend the National Firefighter Cancer Symposium in Miami, FL, February 23-26, 2022; and
WHEREAS, firefighter training is a governmental purpose; and
WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans have not been established for the reimbursement; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.7.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $7,743.04 in excess of those estimated in the 2022 budget; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, by the City Council that $7,743.04 is available for appropriation in the 2022 budget, and said budget, as heretofore adopted by the Council, is hereby amended as outlined in the attached financial analysis.
