Authorizinging the acceptance of a grant in the amount of $3500 from the Minnesota Breastfeeding Coalition and the Twin Cities Regional Breastfeeding Coalition and amending the 2022 Financing and Spending Plans in the Library Agency

WHEREAS, THE Saint Paul Public Library is requesting a grant in the amount of $3,500 from Minnesota Breastfeeding Coalition and Twin Cities Regional Breastfeeding Coalition; and
WHEREAS, the grant will fund the costs of items to support lactation spaces in libraries: and
WHEREAS, the grant will provide opportunities for lactating people to comfortably breastfeed or pump in library buildings; and
WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans for these monies has not been established; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.7.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriations funds of $3,500 in excess of those estimated in the 2022 budget and recommends the changes to the 2022 budget described in the attached fiscal analysis;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Library Board approves the changes to the 2022 Budget, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that said budget, as heretofore adopted by the Library Board is hereby amended as indicated in the attached fiscal analysis form.
