Authorizing the Fire Department to accept the donation of stuffed animals, stocking hats, and lip balm valued at $738.71 from the Northern Express Headquarters, LLC.

WHEREAS, the Northern Express Headquarters, LLC has offered to donate 37 stuffed animals, 100 stocking hats, and 48 rolls of lip balm valued at $738.71 to the Saint Paul Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department would like to accept the donation of the stuffed animals, hats, and lip balm from the Northern Express Headquarters, LLC; and
WHEREAS, the public purpose of this donation is to have the stuffed animals provide comfort for patients who ride in ambulances and the hats and the lip balm will be handed out to the unsheltered residents through the Department of Safety and Inspection's HART Outreach Coordinator; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, the Saint Paul City Council accept this donation of stuffed animals, hats, and lip balm from Northern Express Headquarters, LLC and thank this organization for their generous donation.
