Authorizing the City to enter into a Joint Powers and Construction Cooperation Agreement with the Metropolitan Council for the Gold Line Bus Rapid Transit Project.

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council and the City entered into Master Funding Agreement Number 19I056 for the Gold Line BRT Project, as authorized by Council Resolution 20-796; and
WHEREAS, the City has entered into five subsequent Subordinate Funding Agreements related to City-requested improvements to be constructed concurrently with the Gold Line BRT Project, as authorized by Council Resolutions 20-817, 20-818, 20-1644, 21-642, and 21-1292; therefore, now be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City to enter into a Joint Powers and Construction Cooperation Agreement with the Met Council for the Gold Line BRT Project, a copy of which is before Council and is made a part hereof; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper City Officials are authorized to execute the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement.
