Approving a Gambling Location license with conditions to be added to existing licenses for Gazta & Enhancements LLC d/b/a O’Cheeze (License ID #20210001008) at 928 Seventh Street West.

WHEREAS, Gazta & Enhancements LLC d/b/a O’Cheeze (License ID #20210001008) applied for a Gambling Location license for the premises located at 928 Seventh Street West in Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, The Licensee currently holds a Liquor On Sale - 100 seats or less and Liquor On Sale - Sunday license.
WHEREAS, the Department of Safety and Inspections received no objections to approval of the above-mentioned license; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the application is in order and there are no grounds for denial of the Gambling Location license; now, therefore, be it,
RESOLVED, a Gambling Location license is hereby approved for Gazta & Enhancements LLC d/b/a O’Cheeze (License ID #20210001008) for the premises located at 928 Seventh Street West in Saint Paul with the following conditions:
1. All sales, display and/or consumption of alcohol under this license shall remain within the licensed service area, which is the separately defined indoor seating area and kitchen space supporting this use that shall be compact and contiguous with each other, as shown on the approved floorplan submitted with the license application and on file with the Department of Safety and Inspections (DSI).
2. Licensee shall maintain an approved barrier that separates and defines the licensed service area to ensure the sale, display and/or consumption of alcohol remains within the approved area.
3. Licensee agrees to close the establishment at 12:00 a.m. midnight each day of the week. All patron/customers shall vacate the premises by 12:30 a.m. each day of the week as per City Zoning Code (parking requirement).
4. No liquor sales and/or service is allowed on a public sidewalk without prior written approval and additional licensing from DSI.
