Authorizing the Police Department to add fund equity to its 2021 Special Fund operating budget to reflect expenditures more accurately.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department (SPPD) has a balance in Use of Fund Equity from 2020 on the City of Saint Paul's balance sheet; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $10,000.00 in excess of those estimated in the 2021 budget and recommends the following changes; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts the amendments and approves these changes to the 2021 budget.
