Establishing the rate of pay for the Urban Forestry Technician in EG 02, AFSCME, in Grade 026.

WHEREAS, the Office of Human Resources conducted a job series study for the urban forestry function within the Parks and Recreation Department and it was determined the new Urban Forestry classification be established; and
WHEREAS, the results of the study instruct that the rate of pay for the new classification of Urban Forestry Technician be established at the rate set for in Grade 026 of EG 02, the AFSCME Technical employee group; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, pursuant to City Charter Sections 6.03.3(5) and 12.01, that the rate of pay for the Urban Forestry Technician be established at the rate set forth in Grade 026 of EG 02, AFSCME Technical. This classification and rate of pay will become effective on the first full pay period following passage and approval of this resolution.
