Ratifying the assessment for the 2021 Street Maintenance Service Program for sweeping and lighting. (File No. 2021SMSP, Assessment No. 210025)

 

Body

WHEREAS, Street Maintenance Service Program for sweeping and lighting are authorized for assessment under Minnesota Statute § 429.101 and Laws of Minnesota 1967 Chapter 442; and

 

WHEREAS, assessment for the costs of such services are further authorized by Saint Paul Legislative Code Chapter 62; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council in RES 21-1471 accepted the Report of Completion for the new assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the 2021 Street Maintenance Service Program for sweeping and lighting; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on November 17, 2021 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the 2021 Street Maintenance Service Program for sweeping and lighting; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul, exercising its power under the authority of Minnesota Statute § 429.101 and following the procedures in Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429, hereby ratifies the assessments in all respects; and be it further

 

RESOLVED, the assessment amount for the property at 10 W. Delos St. (PIN # 08-28-22-22-0001) is reduced from $122.76 to $49.50 based on using an adjusted street frontage of 50 feet; and be it finally resolved

 

RESOLVED, that the assessments be made payable in one (1) installment.
