Title

Appeal of Anna Decrans, Premier Housing Management, to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 765 EDGERTON STREET.

Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, September 21, 2021, teleconference between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  We are contesting the vacant building registration, as we have been diligently working on repairs.  There has been significant delay with contractors to perform repairs.  The contractors have also bumped into permitting issues because of the way the City entered orders in the permitting system.  The cost for work has been more extremely prohibitive, which has also extended the timeline trying to vet the most appropriate contractor.  One contractor estimated $20K and another $5K.  Mining out the discrepancies is time-consuming. (paraphrased)

Date of Order(s) Under Appeal:  September 2, 2021

Inspector/Key Staff:  James Hoffman

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  VB Category 1 Multi-family opened 9/2/21 revoked by Fire inspector, EF.  FCO 21-99 adopted by Council on 7/21/21 gave ext until August 10, 2021.
