Amending the financing and spending plans in the Department of Public Works Capital Budget to add funding to the 2021 Sidewalk Program and the 2021 Energy Park, Cleveland & Selby Interconnect Project.
Body
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works and the Department of Planning and Economic Development have agreed to use Commercial Vitality Zone (CVZ) funds for sidewalk replacement and concrete work for boulevard trees on Cesar Chavez Street to be constructed under the 2021 Sidewalk Program; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to add $172,600 in CVZ funds to the 2021 Sidewalk Program; and
WHEREAS, Ramsey County has agreed to provide funding for the 2021 Energy Park, Cleveland & Selby Interconnect Project; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to add $677,890 in Ramsey County funding to the 2021 Energy Park, Cleveland & Selby Interconnect Project; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there is available for appropriation funds of $850,490; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $850,490 is available for appropriation Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvements Budgets in the following particulars:
