WHEREAS on August 25, 2021, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. RLH AR 21-71, said Resolution being the Ratification of Assessment for Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during January to March 2021. (File No. CG2102A4, Assessment No. 210109); and
WHEREAS, the property at 754 Van Buren Avenue, being described as: Grotto Street Addition to the City of Saint Paul Lot 4, with the property identification number 35-29-23-12-0083 was assessed an amount of $196.04; and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff recommends reducing the assessment from $196.04 to $65.37 because property owner submitted a vacancy request to the City on January 25, 2021 and should have only been charged for January 1 thru January 25, 2021; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer concurs with the recommendation; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the reduction from $196.04, plus any accrued interests, to $65.37. Council File No. RLH AR 21-71 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
