Amending Council File RLH AR 21-70 to delete the assessment for Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during January to March 2021 at 1037 GERANIUM AVENUE EAST. (File No. CG2102A3, Assessment No. 210108)

WHEREAS on August 25, 2021, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. RLH AR 21-70, said Resolution being the Ratification of Assessment for Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during January to March 2021. (File No. CG2102A3, Assessment No. 210108); and
WHEREAS, the property at 1037 Geranium Avenue East, being described as: Eastville Heights Subj to Esmts; Lot 25 Blk 5, with the property identification number 28-29-22-21-0050 was assessed an amount of $5.06; and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff recommends deleting the assessment as this fee is for a single late fee that should not have been added as the initial invoice had been sent to the incorrect mailing address even though owner called several times to update mailing address; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer concurs with the recommendation; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the reduction of $5.06, plus any accrued interests, be deleted. Council File No. RLH AR 21-70 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
