WHEREAS, Twin Cities Catalyst Music d/b/a The Garage (License ID #20190002866) applied for a Cabaret - Class A license for the premises located at 965 Payne Avenue in Saint Paul, and
WHEREAS, The applicant proposed the project to the Payne-Phalen Community Council on August 27, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Payne-Phalen Community Council recognized the benefits of the project and venue “as being a very positive addition to the Payne-Phalen community - especially because it will provide educational programming and opportunities for youth in the local community.” and
WHEREAS, The Department of Safety and Inspections received an E-mail from the Payne-Phalen Community Council on August 29, 2019 supporting the application; and
WHEREAS, in response to the September 25, 2019 notification from the Department of Safety and Inspections regarding the license application, the City received no objections to the Cabaret - Class A license within the notification period; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the license conditions agreed to by the applicant are reasonable and that the application is in order and there are no grounds to deny approval of the licenses; now, therefore, be it,
RESOLVED, the Cabaret - Class A license is hereby approved and issued to Twin Cities Catalyst Music d/b/a The Garage (License ID #20190002866) for the premises located at 965 Payne Avenue in Saint Paul.
